Jeff H. Senduk

Mr Jeff Senduk is a Foreign Legal Advisor, affiliated to the firm. He is consulted by members of the firm as and when his expertise is required. Mr Jeff Senduk, qualified to practice law in Indonesia and Netherlands, is not registered as a foreign lawyer practising in Singapore, not regulated by the Law Society of Singapore and is not a member of the firm.

 

Jeff Senduk is an experienced lawyer who has represented clients in a variety of corporate and regulatory matters, dealt with institutions ranging from the UN to the EU and litigated on matters of international and EU law both before civil courts, international courts and international tribunals.

 

He was part of the team that litigated and won the China Autoparts case for the EU at the WTO (DS339, 340, 342). Subsequently he has represented a variety of clients in trade-related matters ranging from anti-dumping, to anti-subsidies, to sanctions. In addition he has wide experience with all aspects of regulatory law, particularly concerning issues of telecommunications and competition law. He has represented a major telecom provider in several landmark cases on termination rates and access to essential facilities and has done a wide variety of work on merger control for several private equity funds.

 

He is a graduate of law schools in the Netherlands and the United States and was adjunct lecturer at Leiden University Law School where he taught international aspects of competition policy. Over the years he has taught at several other institutions as well. He has published a range of articles in the field of international law in journals such as the Stanford Journal of Law Business and Finance and the Global Trade and Customs Journal. Jeff is not admitted to legal practice in Singapore.
